South Korean solar panel manufacturer Qcells has released its next generation of PV modules and the company is guaranteeing customers a quarter of a century of high-performance and product protection thanks to its bumped-up 25-year warranty.

The product guarantee covers the new Q.MAXX BLK G4+ and Q.MAXX G4+ modules, as well as the existing Q.PEAK DUO ML-G10+.

The announcement comes on the back of Qcells launching its exclusive partnership with wholesale distributor MMEM Greentech.

“Through the partnership between Qcells and MMEM Greentech, we can connect our leading products with the people and businesses who need them throughout Australia,” says Jin Han, managing director, Qcells.

“Our new 25-year warranty provides our customers the reassurance that Qcells will continue to provide an innovative and quality range of products.”

The Q.MAXX BLK G4+ comes with a black backsheet and features a 108-half-cell monocrystalline panel, with a 1000-volt maximum system voltage, and Q.ANTUM technology with anti-reflection and thermally prestressed glass.

The panels have a minimum power of 390 watts and an efficiency of 20.3 per cent.

The Q.MAXX G4+ also has a maximum system voltage of 1000 volts, with an efficiency of 21.4 per cent and a maximum power of 410 watts (at a current of 13.04 amps).

The 25-year warranty also applies to the Q.MAXX Plus module range and Q.PEAK DUO ML-G10+ module.

Qcells is the world’s first mass-scale manufacturer of solar modules based on PERC technology, and the company was recently awarded “Top Brand PV 2022” seals from international research institute EuPD Research.

The company earned its ninth consecutive seal in Europe, and seventh consecutive seal in Australia.

Qcells has also been awarded “Top Performer” in the 2022 PV Module Reliability Scorecard from PVEL, an US independent laboratory which samples and tests solar modules.
