Remote Community Solar Rollout Starts In The NT

The first of dozens of solar power systems to be installed for remote Northern Territory communities was commissioned on Monday.

Maningrida is the first of 30 communities to have a significant solar installation up and running through the Federal and NT Government’s $55 million Solar Energy Transformation Program (SetuP).

More than 100 Canberra homes and businesses have installed heavily subsidised battery storage systems through the ACT’s Next Generation Renewables Energy Storage Grants program.

Latest reports from the ACT state reveal a myriad of actions by the Government aimed at driving down emissions from greenhouse gases and accelerating the adoption of clean energy sources across the Territory.

Kudos to Enphase Energy, Inc., the winner of this year’s EuPD Research seal of approval for “Best Inverter 2017” in the UK, France and Netherlands.
