The South Australian Government has set a goal of becoming 100 per cent powered by low carbon electricity.
Announced by Premier Jay Weatherill earlier today, the government is seeking proposals from the energy industry for the supply of low carbon electricity; specified as emitting less than 400kg carbon dioxide equivalent per megawatt hour of electricity generated.
