Newy Solar Co

Newy Solar Co is a local Hamilton-based solar and battery installer using in-house licensed electricians.

Based in Hamilton North, an inner suburb of Newcastle, Newy Solar Co serves Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Maitland, Port Stephens and the Hunter Valley. The company designs and installs residential solar power and battery systems, with its own electricians managing projects from site assessment and system design through to installation, handover and ongoing support.

Services include solar panel and battery installation, battery retrofits for existing solar systems, EV charging, hot water heat pumps, switchboard and associated electrical work, commercial solar, maintenance and inspections. Systems are designed around household electricity usage as well as roof condition, orientation, shading and existing switchboard requirements.

Newy Solar Co does not subcontract its solar installations, with its Hamilton team carrying out the work directly. The company can also manage applicable solar and battery certificate and incentive paperwork, with eligible deductions shown separately from the gross installation price.
