We obtained four quotes - three from Solar Quotes and one independent. All but one quoted on recommended, proven hardware. Simon from Vortex did what he said he would do, when he said he would. He was considerate in his design/placement for the battery and other components and his team was neat and professional when doing the work. I was impressed with the extra effort he took in working out where things could go before he got the job.
From the very first contact, with Sophie, when she came to our home and assessed the area and our solar needs, right through to the install of the panels, we found Vortex to be professional, friendly and very helpful.
Simon from Vortex came to look at my faulty solar system that hadn’t been working for years. I had previously had another solar installer come and look at it and tell me the inverter was shot and it would be around $2,000 to replace. Simon discovered that it was only a blown circuit breaker to blame and had it back up and running in no time. A great genuine and trustworthy tradesman that I would have no hesitation in recommending. A++
