Hi, my name is Brent Morcombe, and I am the admin and creator of the Solar Directory website. This site started as a high school project, and it was dormant for a couple of years after I left school. Then, I received a reminder to renew the domain registration and decided to keep the site going considering all the effort I had put into creating it.
The information displayed in the business directory is composed of small text snippets extracted from solar business websites, in the same manner that large search engines like Google use. I also write an accurate description of each business I list, based on the information I can find online. The paid advertisements placed on this website help pay for the site's running costs, without which I couldn't afford to continue.
