PV Hardware Australia has become the nation’s leader in the domestic solar tracking market, reporting $138 million in revenue for 2022 and 1.9GW of project accounts.
The company, which entered the Australian market in 2019, has overtaken previous leader Nextracker by securing supply agreements with major companies such as FRV, Lightsource BP and ACEnergy.
“While PV Hardware was already a dominant player in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, when we arrived in Australia we immediately realised this market is completely different and quite challenging,” says PV Hardware’s APAC manager, Alejandro Cantos.
“We started from scratch by knocking on doors and integrating ourselves. Board support and great technical capabilities mixed with a uniquely talented team to achieve our first steps in the country.
“PV Hardware specialises in adapting our structures into new landscapes and projects. Every site is different, and every project is different – each brings a unique set of challenges linked to tailored solutions.

PV Hardware recently secured 65,000 square metres of space in Spain to build the world’s largest solar tracking factory with 25GW of capacity.
